Artisan pizza brand Divide 8 has opened a new Maroubra store on December 1, marking its sixth restaurant opening in two years and expanding its presence across Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
The Divide 8 team has more than two decades of experience in pizza and hospitality and is known for working with local butchers and bakeries to keep ingredients fresh and tied to the neighbourhood.
To celebrate the opening, Divide 8 will give away free pizzas for eight days straight. Customers can stop by 16 Maroubra Road between 5 pm and 6 pm from now to December 8 to claim a pizza on the house. Anyone who joins the loyalty program will also be entered into a draw to win free pizza for a full year.
Divide 8 Franchise Director Raymond Toutounji said, “Maroubra is a dynamic suburb, and we’re proud to introduce our latest location to give more Sydneysiders a chance to try our truly fresh pizza.
“We celebrate the dedication of John, Monica and Kevin and the new franchise team and look forward to forging a thriving, long-term partnership with the wonderful community in Maroubra.”
Franchise owner John Arvanitellis added, “I’m thrilled to open the first Divide 8 location in Maroubra and share our passion for genuine artisan pizza with the local community. We look forward to becoming a dedicated part of the Maroubra business landscape and becoming a hub for the local neighbourhood.”
The Maroubra store will join a network of locations serving Divide 8’s mix of classic and creative pizzas, including the Marrickville Mercedes with marinated Greek lamb, garlic confit, Spanish onion, feta, golden peppers and cucumber dill yoghurt.
Another signature is The GR8 DB8, topped with fresh cut pineapple, Lucas Meats leg ham, maple bacon and 16-month aged Grana Padano.
Divide 8 says the new site, which closely follows the brand’s October launch in Wollongong, reflects its continued focus on community partnerships as the brand expands across Sydney.
