Healthy burger chain Grill’d is set to open its 175th restaurant in Sydney’s Barangaroo on October 2.
To mark the milestone, the brand will be giving out 754 free burgers on opening day, followed by a $10 burger deal once the freebies are claimed. The number of free burgers is a nod to the address of Grill’d’s very first store, which opened on Glenferrie Road in Hawthorn 20 years ago.
The giveaway will kick off from 10 am on Thursday, with free burgers served to the first customers in line. Once all 754 have been served, the celebrations will continue with $10 burgers for the rest of the day and again on Friday, October 3.
It’s been a big year for Grill’d, which expanded into retail in July with an exclusive range of burger patties now sold through Coles supermarkets nationwide. The Barangaroo opening continues that momentum, marking the brand’s 175th restaurant.
“Barangaroo is one of Sydney’s fastest growing harbourside precincts, attracting locals, city workers and visitors alike, so we’re incredibly excited to add the location to our Sydney CBD restaurant stable,” said Simon Crowe, Grill’d Founder and Managing Director.
The new restaurant is located at Shop R9.06, Building R9, Barangaroo South, 25-31 Barangaroo Avenue, Barangaroo. Opening hours on launch day are from 10 am to 10 pm.
